Welcome Message from the ARCIS Director
It
is my pleasure to welcome you to the ARCIS website. You will be able to
learn about ARCIS, including its history, objectives, programmes,
facilities, students, and staff. Our aim is to be a centre of
excellence in information science, and a major facilitator of
information technology training, research and advisory services in
Africa. As a centre serving developing countries in the West
African sub-region, we need the support of international agencies
and sister institutions within and outside the sub-region to enable us achieve our goals. We therefore solicit your goodwill,
technical and financial assistance, as well as collaborative
research and training partnerships, and staff and student exchange
programmes.
