Dr. 'Wole Michael OLATOKUN, a UNESCO Fellow, obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Linguistics and a Master of Information Science
(MInfSc) degree from the University of Ibadan in 1992 and 1996 respectively. Between 1995 and 1997 he worked as a Systems Analyst at TechnoChips Systems and Consultancy Services in
Ibadan, Nigeria until he joined the University of Ibadan in October 1997.
He is currently a Lecturer at the Africa Regional Centre for Information Science
(ARCIS), University of Ibadan, Nigeria where he teaches courses in the areas of Fundamentals of Information Science and Electronic and Multimedia Publishing. His area of specialization is Information Technology
Policy and his research interests include: Measuring the social value of Information Technology (IT), Multimedia and Electronic Publishing, Distance Learning, and Computer Literacy for Development. His hobbies include reading and imparting knowledge.
